Gwinnett County Public Schools & ASD resources?
My son has high functioning autism (Asperger Syndrome), and we are trying to find information from other parents/teachers on the Autism Spectrum Disorder Resources in the Peachtree Ridge / Duluth area. Unfortunately, GCPS offers no information on past, present or future plans for the ASD programs. This makes it difficult for a parent of a child with special needs to make informed decisions. I'm hoping you all can help!

I'm not sure about that area, but I will say that Shiloh Middle had a most awesome teacher, Mrs. Washington, who had a class just for that.
I'll also say that Parkwood Farms Therapy Center specializes in Autism therapies, and I believe they work with some of the schools in the Gwinnett system. Check their website and contact Dr. Peterson

A friend's daughter on the spectrum is enrolled in the cluster and is having a good experience. The school has been very accommodating and the child is doing very well.
