Hey all,

I am new to the East Cobb area having spent the last couple years in the Smyrna area. I have noticed there are a couple of condo developments behind the Kroger (?) at Johnson Ferry and Lower Roswell. I think one is called "Parkaire Crossing", not sure about the others. They seem to be ~30 years old done in a contemporary style (at least from the exterior). I have not yet physically visited the area but from looking online they seem to be a pretty good deal for the location. Are these developments safe -- it doesn't look like they have a gate from Google satellite? Is the traffic horrendous? Are they just super affordable due to the age of the units?

Thanks!

There's a few properties--there's one called Wimbledon, as well as The Gardens, The Villas and The Meadows of Parkaire. There is also an apartment complex, but I don't know the name of it.

I don't much about Wimbledon, but the Villas and Meadows both have pools and club house. The Gardens do not.

The Gardens skews a bit older (retired couples, widows, less children although there are some).

There is no gated entry to any of these properties, but the area is very safe and friendly. Traffic is not bad. Speed limit is 15 mph down the thoroughfare and there are lots of people out walking, with or without their kids and pets.

I have been renting here for almost three years and have come to love the area--great proximity to Chatahoochee, parks and services of Cobb. Although is almost as east as you can get and we tend to do a lot in Roswell, too.

Top schools for these properties too--Sope Creek, Dickerson and Walton HS.

Hope that helps a little.
