I think I would choose Atlanta just because of the topography. Hills are nice to have and definitely more scenic than never ending flatness. If you did want to live in the suburbs, Houston doesn't have as much of a good selection than Atlanta does. In Houston there's Katy, The Woodlands, Kingwood, Sugar Land, Friendswood and not much else. Both have grown tremendously.

grew up in htown. been in ATL awhile. I would choose Atlanta first, wish it was more diverse however. Atlanta has more of a city vibe, which is why i like it; but Houston has more of a diverse culture. Atlanta is so Black and White

But, I SO miss TexMex. People think I'm crazy when I say I don't find Mex food here I like . . .they just don't understand
