I am in my mid-twenties and I am looking to move to GA in a couple of years with my wife. I wanted to know a few things before making teh final decision.

I am looking to buy a house in a city like Suwanee (we have a couple of friends out there), we have no kids but we will have one soon. How is the job market in Atlanta, I am a teacher with coroporate experience (engineering work) and my wife has a business degree. How much will we typically make together because we are from NJ and currently we make about $120,000. Can we make this much/close in GA?

Are you a corporate instructor or a school teacher? What type of work does your wife do with her business degree?

Unemployment rate in Atlanta is currently higher than the national average. On average you won't make the same money you did in NJ but you also won't have the same cost of living and pay the same level of taxes.

I'm a school teacher but I may want to get back into corporate because of the pay for school teachings in GA. However, I will have a certificate to be an assistant principal/principal. I graduated with an Industrial Engineering degree and my wife works in banking. How is the job market?
