MSRAE, did you find out which high school your 10th grader will be attending? I am also moving to the Atlanta area and we're dictating our location on where our daughter will attend high school, but I haven't gotten too much feedback/info on any high schools in Powder Springs, so any information will be appreciated. And if anyone else has any information on high schools in that area, I'd appreciate that as well. Thanks!

Hillgrove High is an excellent high school in the Powder Springs area. There was a recent post that discussed this. I will see if I can find a link.

One thing to keep in mind is that the school district for Powder Springs, Mableton and Smyrna is Cobb County. While most of the residents may attend a High School that is physically located in their city the school districts are not specifically drawn along city lines so it is possibly to live in an unincorporated area of Cobb County and have an Atlanta or Marietta address but attend a school physically located in Smyrna or Powder Springs.
