I currently live in Tallahassee, FL and plan on relocating to either Atlanta,
Charleston, Savannah, and or Central FL. Personally I like Atlanta, but I'll
have to give up saltwater fishing for freshwater fishing. But fishing isnt
everything......

We're both in our late 20's, and my future wife will have her Master in
Psychology before we move, and I'm a network engineer with my CCNA,
CCNP, and MCITP Enterprise Administrator certifications. I also have over 5 years experience in the field. We are both very active as well. We love
running and she is training for a triatholon. She currently owns a house which I'm pretty sure we can get 200k out of. We will have an addition 20 to 30k to spend on a house at some point in the near future as well.

What would be good neighborhood choics as well as the job market for
our specific fields. BTW, she is looking to get into teaching once she
gets her PHD.

Job wise, any neighborhood would be a good choice. The major drivers of where specifically you should live is driven by your budget and where you work. You will enjoy any neighborhood the better you can manage your commute so find the job first. There are home of all budgets so once you know where we can narrow it down from there. Check out the sticky thread at top and tell us the details as to what you are looking for.

Atlanta is a big running community everywhere but most organized group running or training tends to be more ITP or ATP (At the Perimeter) vs OTP.
