My mom who lives in Woodstock goes for Cancer treatments at Piedmont Hospital on Howell Mill Rd (I think it's exit 252 on I 75). It's about a 30 mile drive, she's always been leery of the big Atl highways and her chemo and radiation side effects doesn't help

my brother and his wife have taken her in the past but they're all fighting now. neighbors have taken her too. I will be coming in (I live in NY) soon to relieve them of the burden but in the meantime does anyone know of any car services in the Woodstock area that would take her to Piedmont? I know they would be costly but it might be a better alternative to fighting with my brother and her daughter in law

when returning, would a Woodstock area based car service go to pick her up as long as she would be returning to Woodstock(at least that is how the car services here in NY operate)?

Default I called a taxi company in Woodstock

they said their fee is meter based. are there any cab companies that charge a flat fee based on the addresses you provide?

You might be better off looking into a service such as this:
In-Home Senior Care | Alpharetta Senior Helpers (http://www.seniorhelpers.com/alpharetta/ - broken link)

The main page states that they offer in-home senior care, but I know they also offer things like transportation to doctor's appointments.

There is something called the Atlanta Agency on Aging..

AgeWise Connection | Area Agency on Aging, Atlanta Regional Commission
You might check with them tomorrow

Also, you might check with Piedmont and their social worker. Also, could she get the same treatment closer to home at a different hospital.
