Default Elementary Schools-Acworth/Woodstock
Can anyone give me any info on the following elementary schools-
Oak Grove, Boston, Bascomb?

We are relocating and I have two small children entering pre-k next year. I have heard Bascomb is wonderful, but the house we like is in Oak Grove district. Can anyone give me any insights? Is Oak Grove a "bad" school?

Also, if you have any info on pre-k programs or great (or awful) daycare centers/preschools in that area ("east" Acworth/Towne Lake/"west" Woodstock), I would love insights. I visited ParkView Mont. and really liked it, but it's pricey.

Boston was a horrible school in 1997-2001. I'd advise you not to go there. For pre-k, I went to Primrose in Woodstock. It might be a drive for you, though, but Id on't know much about the Oak Grove area.

I know a teacher at Oak Grove Elementary. She says it's not a bad school, and don't listen to what people say. Good luck!

schooldigger.com -- Search for elementary, middle, and high schools will give school ratings - usually the school websites will give demographic info too

Bascomb is supposed to be a very good elementary. I know Bascomb United Methodist and Hillside United Methodist are good church (private) preschools.
