I have been offered a position in Norcross Ga that would require me to travel out of Atl Airport frequently. Need advice on a family friendly suburb or suburbs to look at. I'll probably rent a home at least 4BR in a suburb while I am selling my home in N California. Ugh! Any advice on great family friendly, appreciating home value. Good school suburbs with decent commute to the airport?

You could live in Norcross, particularly Simpson Elementary, Picknyville Middle and Norcross High, and drive to MARTA and take the train to the airport?

What is your price point and how old are your kids?

Default Thanks lastminutemom

Price point around 300,000 to 350,000. My Kids are ages 16, 12 ,11 & 11. Is MARTA a train system?

Yeah, Marta is the train and bus system. The train does run directly to the airport. You can get more info here: MARTA - Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority

Also, you could look in Sandy Springs or Dunwoody for a home. I can't give any advice on the school systems but both cities are nice family friendly suburbs and there are several Marta train stations there so you could take the train to the airport. It takes about 40 minutes to take the train from the northern most train station in Sandy Springs to the airport station. If you avoid the highway and take backroads/side streets your commute to Norcross shouldn't be too bad either.
