Default What is the job market like in ATL?

I am a young male that has experience in many different work fields. I am currently living in Chesapeake, VA, but am seriously considering relocating to Atlanta. What is the average pay that i can look forword to? and how is the pay in comparison to the living expenses? Most people tell me that ATL is the land of opportunity, can someone fill me in on what opportunity is out there?

Yes...I used to live in Hampton, VA. If the job market in Hampton Roads is anything like it was when I was there 7 years ago...Atlanta is definitely some steps up. Atlanta can be a land of opportunity if you make that way..meaning being a go-getter, but don't get it twisted...it can still be rough. All in all though I think the jobs are plentiful in comparison to the Peake.
