I am looking to relocate from San Jose CA to McDonough. Have an opportunity to start my own company but am not to confident on the future economic growth of the Atlanta suburb. Can someone give some insight on the rate of growth and the business potential in McDonough. The research I have done indicates that it is more of an industrial town with not much movement for the future.

I appreciate the input of those that live and own a business there.

Thanks,

You're talking about one burb in the metro Atlanta area, however. The South side has traditionally grown slower than the rest of Atlanta. The North, Northwest, and Northeast regions around Atlanta have experienced the most rapid growth over the years, probably followed by the Eastern metro, then the West, and then South.

This doesn't mean it will always be that way - just the way it's been. As a whole, the Atlanta region is considered one of the strongest growth markets in the U.S. right now in many areas (not tech, though).
