Talk about weird timing, his being mentioned in this thread, and then his death reported today. My condolences to Bobby Franklin's family.

I recall this guy's name, but not much else. Thanks for bringing this topic up, it is time for me to brush up on the topic of the Georgia Legislature again.

Gotta admit, the Georgia legislature has come up with some dioxide in the past. I remember the proposal, from a year or two ago, to ban the implantation of mind controlling devices in patients' brains, or something along those lines. Now that I think about it, I think I know some folks who have those...

I want my state representative to cut my taxes, fix the transportation system, build some new parks and start sending me Section 8 checks.

Just let somebody else pay the taxes for a while. I'm sick of it. I've been paying in for over 50 years and have never gotten one single check from them.
