Default cAN YOU GIVE ME ADVICE ON MARIETTA AND KENNESAW

We are possibly moving to geaorgia and I was wondering about these two cities. We lived in kennesaw 6 years ago and loved it. I am not sure how much it has changed since then. As well as now we have 2 small kids and would need to live by a jewish preschool. How far is kennesaw from Marietta?

thank you in adcance for your help

Wow....hmmm....if you're talking about city center to city center, its about a 20-45 minute drive depending on traffic and which way you go. However, Kennesaw addresses stretch from the west side of Canton Road to all the way to Acworth's city limits. While Marietta addresses practically take up the center of the county.

Just to let you know, there's a large Jewish population in East Cobb (along with several private Jewish schools), so you might want to look there.

Kennesaw has changed quite a bit in the past couple of years. I have lived here for about 10 years. If you have kids, it's a great place to live. I am moving out of kennesaw because I work on other side of Atlanta in Norcross / Duluth. I am not sure of Jewish population in Kennesaw. But kennesaw has been rated among Top 10 cities to live in, according to Family Circle Magazine, Aug 2007 edition. I live in a neighborhood called Legacy Park and it is HUGE with Really good amenities. It's a great place for people with kids. Do check it out if you moving to kennesaw. I like this place so much that I keep going back between renting and selling.
Keep in mind the traffic while traveling from kennesaw. The new construction on 75 might easy the traffic a little bit.
Good Luck.

Live near the preschool. I highly suggest East Cobb.

I currently live in Kennesaw, We are looking to move to east cobb/roswell to be closer to my office. My kids go to the Jewish Community Center preschool and we have been very happy with our experience there. There are plenty of Jewish people in East Cobb but they are also spread somewhat through Kennesaw and even West Cobb. What is your price range for houses? you can get a lot more for your money in Kennesaw than East cobb.
