There's a 7ft cop that rides the Township Police Motorcycle that is constantly giving tickets to drivers in the New Hope, Scenic Hwy, 120/20 area. Every time I drive by these roads to work he is writing out tickets. At what point is this overkill? Are there any others out there that are recipient to this nonsense?
I understand raising money for the township and all, but this dude is giving everyone a ticket. You can't miss him, he's at about 7' tall. Interesting to see if we can't all get together and actually see how many tickets he writes a day. |

State law has a cap of the maximum percent of a cities income can come from traffic fines (I think it is something like 33%). A few cities get audited every year because they are very close to maxing out on fines. Lawrenceville is one of them. You can complain all you want but unless they change that law it won't do any good.
