I am just glad to see a concensus that while Atlanta and Seattle each have their drawbacks weather-wise, both are great cities and great places to live. Though my opinion would be that Atlanta's weather extreme (hot summers) is not nearly as bothersome or annoying as Seattle's (gray and drizzly).

I agree entirely about the weather part.

Newsboy - I agree with you. The year round weather in Seattle is far more annoying then just having a hot summer in Atlanta.

One cultural thing here you might not be used to is that people will walk right up to you and start talking to you out of the blue. It might throw you off at first. It's a very Southern thing that I think doesn't happen much in Seattle.

Good point. Most Seattle people will only talk to you if they know you. Seattle people are socially awkward. They think they are so smart and great yet they have a hard time meeting new people and just striking up a conversation with someone that they don't know.

If I had to money to afford living in both places, I would live in Atlanta from October to April, and Seattle the other half of the year.
