I'd say about a third is a fair share. I have lived in the era when we paid more than that and yes, you can survive, but I think it's excessive to ask folks to work more than 4 months out of the year for the government.

I don't like the fact that the county name stickers are so small now that you can barely read them.

Also, I agree that the new tags are just too overcrowded with stuff. It should have been something simpler.

I actually like the plain one with the peach in the center. A slight improvement over the current plates.

This plate is worse than the state of OH. No way I' putting this on my car. Looks so Country. I hope there is an alternative.

These plates are embarassing, i mean, "Georgia" right-justified? Ridiculous. So many states design beautiful plates, but not Georgia or North Carolina. Both desperately need something better.

Yes, it certainly is an ugly plate. At least Georgia's has been updated several times since North Carolina's last update. Their plate dates back to 1980!

Why is it important to update things just because they're old? Sometimes a good design is timeless.
