Default Best Place to live near ATL Peach Tree City, or ?

Hi,

I live in So Cal, and have all my life. My husband and I are looking to move out of CA. We have three adult children, son 24, two daughters 20 & 23, our daughters will most likely move with us, but son will stay in CA. Peach Tree sounds great and I wish I had moved there 15 years ago, but I wonder if my daughters will be bored there, it sounds so geared to families with school age kids. Do most people work in Atlanta and commute; if so how long does it take. I also wonder if we would be better off tax wise to choose a different area, since schools are not a consideration for us. Any info/thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you

Peachtree City is very geared towards families and retirees . I absolutely love it for my family. The complaints I have heard coming from college age and adults in their early 20's who are single is that all the things that they are interested in are up in Buckhead and Virginia Highlands area which are about 40 or so miles north of us.There are many though that are happy with what Peachtree City and Newnan have to offer them. I think so much of it has to do with what type of person they are. The only way I think you cold truely find out if they would like it is if you were to rent a house down here and just see how it goes.
