Environmental Releases for FULTON County

not the best rating!

is there an area that has less pollution in greater ATL?

well type in zipcodes of other counties and find out

30047 will give you gwinnett county, which comes up better for "toxic chemical released," but about the same for air quality and water quality.

However, the issue is much more complicated!

The only thing that report is telling you Toxic Chemicals released in the county. It doesn't explain where... how far the effects would travel and what risks they pose...and how. Just because something is release in Fulton... doesn't mean the effects stay there.

There are also other types of ways they measure pollution on that site ... air quality... water source quality, etc...

The other thing is when I look at their national maps... most major metropolitan areas will rank low by their standards... its where industry, people, workers, and cars are.

Its the rural counties w/o industry that rank highly
