NEWSFLASH: Almost everyone in America, from the Wall Street banker pitching toxic debt to the college student running up thousands of dollars in debt for crap they don't need is part of the problem.

WTF do DOCTORS have to do with this? Is this what this is to you? A war against anyone who happens to make more money that YOU think they should? What exactly is OWED to the people? It's BS talk like this that will cause a huge backlash to this movement.

ROSANNE BARR? Are you effing kidding me? And I can't BELIEVE you posted a clip from the RUSSIAN TIMES!!!

Good lord, I guess that the conservative spin-machine is in full effect, eh? So you want to join in on bashing the "Occupy Wall Street" folks, eh?

Well...in that case, I say that the Tea Party are nothing more than a bunch of children of the Strom Thurmond Dixiecrat/George Wallace American Independent Party movements who hate that this country has a black president. Furthermore, I say that the only participants of the Tea Party are just a bunch of glorified angry oldheads who perceive that their advantages are being taking away from them by an ever changing future.

Funny how the Tea Party was quickly co-opted by the Koch Brothers who are on the record as having outright advocated racial segregation. That "movement" was nothing more than false and fraudulent populism anyways.

But please...do continue with your bashing of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement. It only shows that this movement is on the right track!

They blame banks for foreclosures, when the blame is people who took loans they couldn't afford, and many of the people I've heard on the news are the typical naive, academic types who didn't learn anything from the failed experience had by socialism and communism in eastern Europe in the 20th century. I'm not making a political statement here....more of a historical one.

If you contrast these folks with the Tea Party, the difference is striking. The Tea Party platform is to reduce spending and borrowing, both outcomes that objectively would be good for the economy. Some folks oppose those aims on political grounds, and that's a separate conversation, but most economists and even Democrats agree that reducing the federal deficit and debt are good things to do. The arguments come in when you start to talk about the HOW to achieve those goals.

As a matter of fact I did go down there and check it out. I saw a guy in his 20's dressed up like he just came back from VIETNAM(dude actually had on what looked to be a Vietnam era army jacket). I saw a counter-protester endure some lady's apoplectic rants and I actually heard her say all the problems were caused by "white people like you" to the guy. I saw that crappy Troy Davis Park sign that they seem to be so proud of. I saw the usual extreme lefties you see at things like this. And I saw a bunch of kids who probably wouldn't know a credit default swap if it jumped up and bit them on the ass.

Helluva movement you got there boss.

I honestly am starting to believe most people are complete dumbasses in regards to politics b/c the first thing thrown out of most people's mouths anytime they disagree with with the left is "OMG SOCIALISM" and "OMG COMMUNISM" when they have no idea what either one is.

They seem to protect and endorse corporate and wealthy "socialism" and "Communism" but if any regular American wants equal rights, playing field, regulations, they scream those two terms.

Americans are allowed to demonstrate peacefully. For most anything. That is part of what makes this country great. If you are just going to just bash people for standing up for what they believe in...

YOU ARE THE COMMUNIST

If it based in non-sense, then yes, I will mock them. Have you seen the list of demands of these clowns? They are advocating wealth redistribution on such a level that the socialist/communist labels fit pretty well. Sure, they can assemble, but I will continue to laugh at them on my way to work each day.

"We are the 99%?" No you aren't. You are the 1% fringe lunatics.

I'm not bashing anything. Just repeating what they have said in interviews and what their signs say. I have more respect for the people who come right out and admit who and what they are, rather than folks who try to deny what and who they are.

These folks are for the most part people who do not understand economics or business, and they for the most part are naive academic types and young people who do not have real world experience and still believe the crap they were fed by the academic types at their colleges.

You can call me whatever you want, but I would love to know what these people stand for, since they are unable to articulate it themselves. It seems to center around FUD that has to do with evil corporations and bankers, and the fact that others actually have wealth and they don't. Please enlighten this misguided libertarian on exactly how these protesters want to change the world, and how my life will better off if we put in practice what they seem to want but can't articulate.

When it comes to economics, business, and real world experience I only trust Joe the plumber.

Right, so duck a legitimate question with hyperbole and sarcasm. So if you drag out a relic of the 2008 election campaign and imply that Republicans think "Joe the Plumber" is the standard bearer for economic policy, then it makes the mess knows as "occupy" OK....right?

Duck and cover and redirect? What is their point? What is their legitimate grievance that is being aired? Where is the well thought out point of their protest, other than class and envy?

Well if you don't think fancy educated college types understand economics and business, then who does?

There are no demands yet because everything is disorganized and in its beginning stages, but i imagine that over time things will come together.

You guys don't understand. The chaotic nonuniform, "non-message" is one of the most beautiful things about this movement. The occupy_____ is like a blank canvas and its protesters are the various paints which make it into beautiful work of art. There are a ton of problems in this country right now, so each individual voice expresses another problem that needs to be fixed. Its leaderless and complex. Unlike other protests, there is a focus on a holistic perspective. It looks like a mess to some, but is really more organized then you think. There seems to be a media black out on the subject, notice that the AJC made no mention of it? And whenever Cnn does a report, its something that mocks the protesters. I mean what type of reporting is that?

But I do disagree with the whole Troy Davis Park thing.. it kind of makes my skin crawl.. That aspect of it just seems so lazy yuppish and fake.. jus saying. But their are a lot of things I don't like about the OccupyAtlanta one in particular. Everything else is fine though
