Would you lease a Chevy Volt for $349 a month?

You'd have to live really close to work and never go anywhere on 10,000 miles in a year.

I only put between 11k and 12k on my car during a typical year, but mine is the car that we take on road trips usually. My commute is 15 miles round trip, which is relatively short, but it isn't THAT short. Almost 4k miles a year, assuming I don't take vacations or telecommute (I do both at times). That would still eave me 6k miles (500/month) for other driving.

You could run on electric only with 15 miles a day to work.

Retire the Honda...

It's tempting. I don't spend $349/month on my Honda, tho, even with insurance. 203,000 and still ticking!

Not bad. Atleast, it is dependable.

I still haven't seen a Volt or Leaf on the road here. I've seen a few Fiat 500 and Smart cars though.

When i seen the fiat 500 commercial, I was wondering who would buy that ugly, small, european car. But since I have seen one, the fiat 500 has really grew on me. It is really stylish and has that sportish look to it. I actually thinks it looks better than a mini cooper. I think it can become a big winner.

I still wouldn't buy it though.

And the chevy volt looks like the chevy cruze to me. The prototype was much better than it is now.

hell no. Why? I buy my cars, in cash.

That said, i dont feel like buying 40000$ worth of batteries that will fail in under 5 years
