Is it just me? or its to hard to find parking in Atlanta?

and now places are wanting $20 a day in some locations

Yep. It's pretty bad. Fortunately, most of the areas that are difficult to park in have direct access on MARTA, so you can always use that.

I rarely have a hard time, but I never go downtown. What areas are you looking in?

Nope. Compared to many other cities, I find it pretty easy to park here in Atlanta. DC, NY, Chicago...those places are hard to park.

It looks like to me some parking rates have gone down in recent years in some areas in the downtown area, because there are fewer conventions. Other than on a convention day, I think it is usually pretty easy to park in most areas of downtown. Midtown is a bit more of a challenge, sometimes.

Agree way cheaper and easier here compared to most major cities. The places I have seen $20 is during special events or in some of the high traffic business districts. The annoying thing is the new Park ATL which just started last year that added parking meters everywhere and jacked the rates to $2 an hour.

Parking is not hard to find unless you can't be bothered to walk even one block away to where you are going.
