Hello Everyone,

I am relatively new to having a fireplace. I've heard that I should get it swept on a regular basis. I am hoping someone could give me the average going rate for chimney sweeps in the metro. I live ITP in Cobb if it makes a difference.

Thanks!

Are you burning wood or gas logs. I believe (but may be wrong) that you only need to be concerned with wood burning.

The last time I had it done I was told it was good for 30 fires. Lorilove, I think you're right.

I've been burning the pressed wood logs such as duraflame or comparable ones that I got at Costco. I know they sell the chimney "sweeper" logs, but it sounds too good to be true. Thanks for all help so far.
