Default Would you live here?

Would you live here? Why or Why not? What is the narrator lying about (if anything)?

The homes themselves are nice, but like most inner city neighborhoods, Edgewood has too much of a checkerboard personality for my taste. You can have a beautiful development like this at that spot, and go a block away and be in a less desirable area.

Another issue I would have is Atlanta/Fulton County taxes, and delivery of services. Just one man's opinion, but I'm not too fond of the way things are run in the city.

The complex is on Memorial. The only "deceptive" thing IMO is that the complex is portrayed to be connected to The Edgewood Shopping Center and it's not.

I don't know much about that area. I just did a Google map street view of the address and it seems to be bordered by a similar development across the street, an empty lot on one side, and a neighborhood of small creepy looking homes with overgrown lawns on the other.

I noticed a lot of graffiti everywhere. This does not look like a nice place to raise a family or know your neighbors. It would make a big difference to me if it has a secure courtyard, because there's no way I would walk my dog after dark in this area.

It all depends on how much of a pioneer you are. I wouldn't go near it because I would feel like a prisoner in my own home never wanting to walk around the surrounding area, but maybe it's not as bad as it looks. Also, Google maps tends to be a couple of years old, so it might have gotten better since then.

Just drive by and look. Then drive by again at like 11pm some night and see what you think. Listen to your gut, it won't lie.
