Who knows? They're as far East as Dallas now, we just might see them here.

The best fast food burger is Steak 'n' Shake, by far.

Last I heard she was threatening to retire. Is she still in business? Trouble with her is she has strict rules (sort of like the famous "soup nazi") allowing no more people inside than there are seats and the wait can be literally hours.

Pretty surprised Holeman & Finch hasn't been mentioned yet. I got to try 1/4 of their hamburger once and it was pretty damn good. But hard to tell based on that small of a sample.

oh yeah! i forgot about george's! good to hear some love for them. fantastic hamburgers.

two other 'honourable mentions'— there used to be, maybe still is, a cafeteria on the georgia state campus that has a burger called the "blue sky burger", that was fantastic. secondly, i know it's a chain, but johnny rockets in phipps plaza and on paces ferry has some very good hamburgers at decent prices.

That is part of the allure of it, I did my research before going. It is quiet funny when she stops cooking to tell a customer to move their car or yell at people for walking into the restaurant while people are waiting on the deck. She is till open, drove past Tuesday and there was no wait. The reason Miss Anne won't allow over 8 customers is the Fire Marshall.

I have often pined for the Brandy House. Best burgers ever.

I agree with ATL Golfer about the current contenders.
