Town Brookhaven is turning out to be a haven for restaurants.
The mixed-use development in Brookhaven has opened several new restaurants in recent weeks, and two more are still under construction, said Jeff Fuqua, president of The Sembler Co. , the center’s developer. Olde Blind Dog, an Irish pub/restaurant, and There, a restaurant and bar, are both under construction, he said.

Fuqua said his company is still in negotiation for a full-line Mexican restaurant, a gourmet burger place, an Italian concept and a fine Indian restaurant at Town Brookhaven, 4330 Peachtree Road.

The Publix at Town Brookhaven is fabulous. Town Brookhaven is coming around nicely.

Anyone know how the apartments are doing in terms of occupancy and rent?

Hard to imagine that development would do poorly. It's a great location and easily accessible to many people without the usual traffic issues as that part of Peachtree is very rarely severely congested.

I'd say that place was smart money from day one, but I do understand that in the current climate one never truly knows.

The people of Buckhead no longer having to schlep all the way up Peachtree-Dunwoody to go to an overcrowded Costco pretty much assured success.

The transit fans also have terrific access. An 10 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride from the Brookhaven/Oglethorpe station, and then they can zip right back into Midtown. It doesn't get much better than that.

I live very near TOWN, and I'm a fan. The only thing I wish they had done differently is include a gas station with the Costco.

lastminutemom - I hear the apartments are almost totally leased up. As a matter of fact, they are breaking ground soon on additional apartments towards the back of the complex. Rents are the typical $1,200 and up for that area.
