How about Kennesaw? Planning to move to Ga too from the North east. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and I wonder how the job market is.

You would probably/definitely need a PhD to establish a career in psychology in Atlanta as there are many with this type of training and expertise.
Kennesaw is perhaps 30 minutes north of downtown Atlanta in Cobb county. It is a good area for families.

I like Dallas. When I first moved here I thought it was too far away and bought in Kennesaw. My realtor dragged me away from that area saying it's too small, and old and not much growth. Little did I know she was putting me in the middle of what would sooooon be major congestion. I wish I would have bought that pretty yellow house on the corner lot in Dallas, I would be much happier than I am now - 11 years later and still stuck!

Yes, Cobb is nice. I live in Marietta and my office is in Kennesaw. Good schools (not all of them though). Most of my clients with bachelor degrees in Psychology don't fair very well here (unless it's HR , elementary ed. or another field). The one's with Masters and Ph.Ds do though.
