Looking for a clubhouse that will rent to a non-member for an event in Dec. 2012 on a Saturday night. # of people anywhere from 35-100. Need a kitchen with oven, fridge, counterspace for electric platters to keep food warm and enough space for 2 to maneuver. Would like round tables for attendees and rectangle tables for buffet and for the entertainment (trivia). Hoping not to spend more than ~$150. Does anyone have suggestions and contact info?

There is a subdivision in East Cobb called Northamptom (not sure of spelling). They have a gorgeous huge clubhouse they rent out. I'm not sure of how you go about contacting them but I did go to a function there and it was very nice. Also St Anns in East Cobb rents out Nolan Hall....a nice huge room with stone fireplace and full catering kitchen. Our school rented it for a function a few years ago and it was quite nice. I'm not sure on the pricing.

Default Thank you, but...

Thank you! I actually live near Northampton, so I looked them up. It sounds beautiful, but (sigh), unfortunately, according to http://mynorthampton.org/amenity.asp?id=5, they don't rent to non-members for private events. As for St. Ann's, I just feel kind of funny renting church space for a Bar Mitzvah party. If you can think of anything else, please let me know! Thank you again!

What you need to do is find someone who is a member, who is a friend, and have them rent it for you. Then you pay them back. Think about where your friends live and then whether their communities have neighborhood clubhouses.

Also, I have looked at this public park facility with a friend or two for special events.

Roswell River Landing.

Good luck!

Roswell River Landing would be ideal in many ways but it's significantly more expensive than your ~$150 figure -- $900 for a weekend rental, plus $30/hr for a police officer with a four-hour minimum (i.e., $120+).

I've also looked at community center. Mt View is booked for the date unfortunately (itr's $100 for 4 hours + $25 to use the kitchen). There's another one at Shaw Park I'm going to check out. It's $40/hr including kitchen, + security deposit. I may very well go with that. It's just that club houses are so much nicer than a plain room. Thought I'd check out as many options as I can, given I need it for December.

Thank you.
