Default photos of lenox square in the 1980s-early 1990s?

hey everyone, i just posted some pictures of lenox square how it looked back when i was growing up in the late 80s/early 90s, here they are:

07_Lenox_Square_1986_1 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/28235843@N00/671546904/ - broken link)

i was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the other end of the mall, the longer end, after it was enclosed, but before they added a second floor and redid it all in the early-mid 1990s?

i know there's a lot of folks who have memories of when it wasn't enclosed and all... i can't remember that far back, but i do have good memories of lenox back in the old days before they made it look so bland.

Lenox is one of the city's treasures. Over half a century old and still going strong.

Now it's time for some renovations! Lenox is way too nice to look the way it looks. There is no need for over ten different types of flooring.
It's not like they don't have any money.

That's a pretty good example of how Atlanta got its sprawl... that was an unfortunate century for a city to grow up in

Wow, look at all those trees! Am I mistaken or is that towards where Phipps is now? Looks like Lenox Road dead ended into Peachtree?

It really quite amazing how much that area has transformed in the last 50 years.

Here's a shot from above Wieuca Road looking southward a few years ago.

You are right on all accounts.

The only thing that looks remotely familiar in the shot are the Lenox Buildings (one of which is under construction) that still stand today among all the newer highrises.
