Could be one explanation... job growth isn't keeping up with the amount of people moving here... other than maybe Dallas and Houston, job growth in most southern metros are not keeping up with population growth.

Perhaps Atlanta is just attracing more people that rent Penske trucks!

I say this jokingly, buuuut....

it is a different demographic from those getting a moving company and also doesn't include people just out of college that fill up a car a couple of times (or perhaps a small trailer)

I wonder where we stack up in those circumstances...
