I've had lots of billing problems with comcast. It's not that they charge me for things that I didn't order. No, they just don't collect the money despite having automatic payments set up. I've accidentally had my cable shut off on average twice a year.

Funny Comcast Official Site: High-Speed Internet, Cable TV, and Phone Services Deals still works just fine. They tried to market it as a different company but were outed pretty quick.

XFinity is simply the brand name for their various services packages. The company is still Comcast. Just like AT&T's UVerse stuff is called UVerse, but the fact that it's AT&T is still obvious.

FYI...(sounds like they are trying to create a new revenue stream to make up for all their customer losses)...

Might be me but, perhaps it's about time we all started to unplug a little. Get the $30 antennae and work on that significant other for awhile. Do your best Don Juan entrance and romance her for the best 15 minutes of your day, give or take....sure, she may wonder why you became so strange all of sudden but, who cares? Neither of you will be any worse off for the wear.

1) Cheap antennae for TV, $30
2) Cheap bottle of wine $12
3) Dusted off stereo with some nice music and nooooo commercials with that chick from England that won all the awards? $16
4) Telling us what YOUR wife did the night before around the water cooler...priceless.

Mix it up a bit. Tell her you actually love her. I know it's hard. Believe me, I've tried. There's just nooooooo getting past that dyslexia.....thing.....tongue tied comes to mind....and all that time, they thought it was nerves.....silly rabbit, weekends are for pals!

Don't have a significant other, get a girlfriend. Preferably one with a job. Have a girlfriend? Get two. Just in case the first one conks out. Nothing says Viagra more than two insatiable, frustrated housewife wannabe's coming over at regularly scheduled intervals. Makes sure they come over to watch 2 1/2 men...chicks love that show....Yeah, the neighbors might talk but, hey, who tucks you in at night? Them? Hardly.

So, go out to that Bed, Bath and whatever place and don some new linens, soak that old mattress in Lysol and brush up on your ability to listen for a few minutes. REHEARSE your attentive stares in the mirror. Actors are "paid" for a reason you know. And while you won't be getting "paid" with any luck you might just end up getting _ _ _ _.? And that's a good thing.

Who knows? You may get your wife/g'friend(s) back but, at the very least, you will get them to keep quiet while you get to the reruns on ESPN late at night.....just make sure you take care of them FIRST and you are home free the rest of the night Romeo. You won't even have to fight for the remote.

Covered on your end champ,

Adieu

I'd rather pay $200 a month for cable than try to decipher the above post.

LOL!

For the record, as I've posted before, I love my service from Comcast. Superior technically to anything else you will get in Atlanta (no FIOS here unfortunately), and while the local customer service can be lacking at times, if you tweet the social media customer service folks or call the national team, you can always get what you want and quickly.

Sorry the OP had a bad experience, but it's not everyone's experience. BTW...I do not work for Comcast nor does anyone I know.
