I've been to Annie's Thai Castle... it's in the Buckhead Village on Roswell Road near the Roxy. It was good.... crowded though.
There's Nan Thai Fine Dining... It's right next to the 17th street bridge across the highway from Atlantic Station in north Midtown. I pass it all the time but have never been there yet... but you can tell by its looks it is probably very good. Everyone's told me this place is amazing. Their website is
Nan Fine Thai Dining .... I've been wanting to go here for a while now, but haven't gotten the chance yet. This is an upscale place, probably a lot more expensive then the other ones I'm mentioning.
There's Sbydee Thai Restaurant in Midtown on 10th street between Piedmont Park and Georgia Tech. I've been there and it was excellent and the waiter was awesome. I had Thai Lamb Chops and it was very very good (and very spicy, which I love). Recommended.
There's Spoon which is also in Midtown - on Tech Parkway just outside the southwest border of Georgia Tech. I've been there and it was good. Try it.
There's Mali in Virginia Highlands (N Highland and Amsterdam) east of Midtown... I've heard very very good things but have never been there.
There's Thai Fusion on Peachtree in the southernmost part of Buckhead near Piedmont Hospital. I've heard good things about this one too but have never been.
There's Phuket Thai Restaurant on Buford Highway very close to Buckhead (just drive down Lenox Rd from Lenox Mall and take a left at Buford Hwy). Never been there but heard it's very good - I've heard the food is very authentic to Thailand.
There's Rama 5 of Thailand in the Buckhead Village on E. Paces Ferry... (walking distance from Annie's Thai Castle)... Never been there, I've heard people say it's great and I've heard some people say it's not as good as some other Thai places (Mali was mentioned as being better). This is a Thai and sushi bar.
There's Surin of Thailand in Virginia Highlands on N Highland Rd and Greenwood (about a half mile south of Mali). Very popular, but not as authentic as other Thai places... big yuppie crowd here.
There's Panita Thai Kitchen in Virginia Highlands on Greenwood Ave like 100 feet from Surin of Thailand. I hear it's very good.
These are the better Thai places in or close to Buckhead I could think of. But metro Atlanta has a TON of Thai restaurants.... go to Google Maps, zoom in to Atlanta and do a search for Thai restaurants to see what else there is.
