i am looking at a house west of Exit 10 of 400. it is near the Wills Park. Is it a good or bad deal to have a park near the subdivision. Also, is the west side of 400 (exit 10-11) a good place to stay? i know the schools are great, but still a little worried.

We live about 10 minutes from Wills Park West of 400. I'm not sure what you mean is it a good or bad deal to have a park near a subdivision. If you clarify your concern about that and what you are worried about I can give you a better answer. Wills Park is where they have concerts, rodeos and fireworks for holidays. The pool seems to be pretty busy as well. We love the area. The traffic is much better west of 400. There is a Publix, Kroger, North Point Mall, restaurants, a great Y which is more like a healthclub, a wonderful library all within 5-10 minute drive. You are about 1/2 hour from Atlanta. Exit 10
Anywhere off exit 10 is good, they are building a luxury mall/living right off the exit. I would look near Webb bridge rd/ windward lake area as alternative.

Hello, I have the same question as OP. Does anyone have an opinion about "gates at johns creek" from Mccar? I also read a lot of negative reviews about Mccar in Charlotte and wonder how this particular community is rated. Thanks.
