Interested in living in Georgia. Is housing affordable (1,000-1,500)? What's the area like? Activities other than partying, clubbing, drinking, etc. Volunteer work? Sports? Gyms?

And I'm interested in knowing about jobs in nursing. I'm graduating with my BSN in 2013 and will take the NCLEX-RN and will hopefully pass. Are they hiring nurses, especially new nurses out in GA? What are the hospitals like? Experiences? Are they good to their nurses?

I am constantly getting emails about hiring nurses from Northside and I know of a recent grad that was interviewing at St. Josephs.
There is always volunteer work, Junior League, Habitat for Humanity, etc. Churches are a great way to meet people and the Buckhead/NortPoint Church has a big group for singles as well as small groups.
Tennis is very big here- you can check out the ULTA website for more info. There is a lot of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, etc.
The biggest downside for a nurse here is the pay- much lower than some parts of the country.
