That's kind of a generic question. Marietta is part of metro Atlanta and reasonably close to the city. Just like any other town/city, it has good areas, bad areas, and "ok" areas. Overall it's not bad. The town square is nice and has a lot of restaurants, shops, and antique stores along with a small park.

The actual city limits of Marietta is hit and miss. You either live in a high dollar home/town home or you live in the ghetto. Surrounding incorporated Marietta still has a Marietta address and is very diverse.
