Always have to check your logic, too. Just because folks in a neighborhood don't want commercial developments has nothing to do with skin color. C'mon, cq, you can do better than that.

This is a stretch. Without reading what any residents or civic leaders had to say about their opposition to the commercial aspects of the development, it's pretty hard to make that connection.

Default Antico Pizza aims to open Sandy Springs location

The old 4 Seasons spot is a great location. Hope they save some of those trees -- that would make for a terrific outdoor dining experience.

Antico Pizza Napoletana, a prominent Atlanta-based restaurant chain with locations at the Brave’s new SunTrust Park and Alpharetta’s Avalon complex, plans to come to downtown Sandy Springs, according to a local developer.

The custom-built restaurant would replace 4 Seasons Pottery at Hammond Drive and Boylston Drive, according to Gerard Gunthert of Sandy Springs-based Cornerpoint Partners, which just closed a deal on the property. Greg Godwin, the owner of 4 Seasons, confirmed the real estate deal.

Curbed never ceases to amaze with its spectacularly idiotic writing.

As if you need Chantelle Rytter to have a legit lantern parade. It's not as if she invented to concept, all she did was bring it to Atlanta. She even copies the concept of calling her organization a krewe from New Orleans.

PS - even with her involvement, the Suwanee lantern parade seems pretty lame to me.

PPS - even the original Lantern Parade misses the ball in my book. Sure, it's a fun event....but there's really nothing to do afterwards, and thousands of people are sort of just stuck wandering around Piedmont Park with their lanterns asking, "what do we do now?" Last time I went, you couldn't even go to Park Tavern because they had rented it out for a private event.
