Peachtree City, GA or Saint Johns, FL?
Hi. My husband and I have three kids ages 16, 9, and 3. We currently live in Miami, Fl. but are looking for a more relaxed, outdoors-type of lifestyle. My husband works from home so workwise that would not be a problem. I have looked into schools and lifestyle for both these areas and am loving what I have found. I need to point out we are Latin American and want to know if this would be an issue in either one of these towns (I don't want to feel I shouldn't be there)... Ultimately I want a place where I can raise my kids, have lots to do outside, and great schools are a must...
Thanks!

Peachtree City
Hi there- just came across your question. I was raised in Miami and my husband was raised in Pompano Beach. We are trying to move to Peachtree City. I don't know much about St. Johns so I cannot comment on that. But Peachtree City is amazing! We have been trying to relocate for a time and are still hoping to do so before school starts. Anyhow, everytime we go house hunting up there we do not want to return to Florida (we are currently in Wellington) The people are soooo nice, and it is very family oriented. Tons of things to do outside. Have you ever been to Peachtree?

Peachtree City would be a great fit for your family, especially if you love doing things outdoors .It is a very sport minded community .
I honestly don't think your family being Latin American will be a problem at all. Most of PeachtreevCity's citizens are from somewhere else .

We visited Peachtree City this summer, and I have to say... I think the VAST majority of people I saw were white. Like, white/white. I am from Washington State, and I'm used to a large Latino population. I didn't see a single Latino person in PTC. It was a great town, very outdoorsy. I worry, though, about whether my (Asian) daughter will have trouble there.
But I could just be worried about nothing.

What are you referring to when you say St. Johns, Florida? Are you talking about the community in Gadsden county in the panhandle, or are you talking about St. Johns county where St. Augustine is?
