We took the children today. The woman behind the desk confirmed the above. My children loved it! They are seven, four, and three, btw.

Sounds like Fernbank isn't out of the woods yet. How did DeKalb school system get behind the 8-ball like this? It used to be Georgia's pride and joy.

The school system doesn't fund the museum does it? I thought the museum was 100% privately funded.

Museum - privately funded.
Science Center - funded by Dekalb school taxes.
At this point, in light of yesterday's news about the Dekalb schools budget, I think it's pretty safe to assume that the science center is going to close.
