Can anyone comment on gangs in Forsyth schools. I just saw a video on youtube about gangs recruiting students at area high schools. We are considering a move to Cumming and are now really worried.

Gangs in Forsyth? Unless they're the Aryan-type, I don't think you have much to worry about (assuming you're talking about the commonly used euphamism of "gang").

i can pretty much guarantee you that there is little to zero gang activity in Forsyth county. The KKK is still a bigger threat. Do not get all worked up.

Didn't you just post on the NJ board about Moorestown, Mt Laurel etc? I moved from Burlington Couny NJ to Forsyth County as Forsyth reminded me of Burlington County.

I've been here since December and haven't seen a gang yet.

I've never seen a gang, that I'm aware of, anywhere...and I've traveled pretty extensively and I was even born and raised in Forsyth County, N.C.

Oh, I'm sure they are there and I believe you, I just haven't ever seen any sign of a gang. Even smaller towns have gang issues...I don't the attraction at all.

This is so outdated. Yes, that was the case about a decade ago but believe it or not Forsyth County is getting more diverse. As the county continues to grow at an incredible rate more and more relo's are coming this way. The county gov needs to become more progressive but that will eventually change too.

Gangs... haven't seen any or heard that it's a problem. Another poster said that video was from Forsyth County NC. I know last year there was talk about gang problems in Buford.
