mrdkb will become famous soon enoughmrdkb will become famous soon enough
The quadruple murder was of a domestic nature. Some nut killed his girfriend and three others in the house. He also shot a 4 year old. The neihborhood is a quiet one near the Gwinnett count fair grounds. But here's the kicker. After killing them, this nut returns to the scene - WHILE THE HOUSE IS SURROUNDED BY POLICE. He get's out the car and asks the police what's going on.
The one thing I have noticed living in Gwinnett is that many of these violent incidents are either domestic and or the parties know each other. Another example - earlier this week in Dacula/Hamilton Mill two nuts who had a long standing fued (according to the police) were killed in a murder/suicide. One was from Hoschton near Braselton. Short story - one man shot the other man an then turned the gun on himself. Was this some type of lover's quarrell (think of Broke Back Mountain) NUTS!!!

bhoffman is on a distinguished road
I swear this place is cursed. Now add to the list today's incident in Brunswick (7 people found dead). A re-cap of the news would show just how awful of a state Georgia is, with metro Atlanta consistently the worst of all. Let's see, the headlines in the AJC have been:

Four Killed in Home
Peace rally held for slain student
Long feud leads to shootings
Man guilty of torture-murder
Man, 61 arrested for child porn
Video show bus hijacker before attack
7 found slain in georgia mobile home

And those are stories on the AJC website front page *just for today* this is the news for today only. Not to mention the Dacula murder/suicide you heard about. I guess now that would be considered old news, since there have been so many others since then in a one day time span. If there's a h*ll on earth, Georgia sounds like a darn good candidate.
