One of my new favorites: Poor Calvin's. We ate there on my husband's birthday, and are going back as soon as we return to Atlanta!

Are there any spots in Atlanta I can find good:

Puerto rican cuisine
Portuguese food
Vietnamese

...?

I see someone else already posted about Top Spice...still my favorite for Thai and really just a favorite overall spot to eat period.
Green Ginger in Decatur is a mix of Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese. It has a pretty long menu with a number of choices in each and does have good food.

We like everything at Krog Market. Lot of variety. It's not cheap but just good food from Asian, fried chicken, sushi, Mexican, BBQ, and sandwiches. We also love LottaFrutta for fruit smoothies nearby. Another place we really like is Jinya - it's a Japanese restaurant in Buckhead. I think our other favorite is Cafe Agora in Buckhead and Midtown. Amazing Mediterranean food. For burgers we really like Shake Shack. During the summer we like going to Bar Taco in Inman Park. Lot of good restaurants in Atlanta if you know what you're looking for.

Few more to add near my work - Jerusalem Bakery - good middle eastern. The Bowl - another ramen place. Both places are up in Marietta near the 120 Loop.

ENDIVE.

On a little-known back street behind Atlantic Station.

The reviews tell all. One look at the menu and I was making my reservation.

Ah, I do like Anis. Proper French food with a Provençal twist, fun atmosphere. Very good bread and butter. And a pretty fair corkage fee, if memory serves me, if you prefer to bring your own wine, which I often do.

Another good French place just a bit farther up Roswell Road is La Petite Maison, in Sandy Springs. Truly excellent.
