Was driving by rucker rd in Alpharetta and saw ground being leveled near the intersection of charlotte drive and rucker road. What is it? Is it a new sub-division coming up? Seems like a good location hence wanted to check it out. No signs as of yet, saw couple of excavators and dozers... Any idea???

It might be the Milton Library. Fulton Buys Dinsmore Farm for Milton Library - Alpharetta-Milton, GA Patch

Thanks. It does not seem the same one. The milton library is at the intersection of Mayfield and Charlotte rd. I am referring towards other side towards old-milton parkway(rucker) rd. Any idea?

I'm not in Alpharetta that much but maybe it's the new Avalon project (Atlantic Station North) ?

Is it definitely Charlotte and Rucker, not Charlotte and Mid Broadwell? I know that's a residential development going in there, at a price point well below what was originally advertised.

Avalon is going in on the east side of 400. The OP is talking about an area on the west side.

Pretty much sure. If you just glance on to your right while you go on old milton that turns into rucker, just at the intersection large are being levelled.

regarding your reply, what is the development you are referring to near mid-brodwell. Are you referring to lennar subdivision ( Payton farm?)

Is that the giant abandon concrete foundation off Old Milton just West of 400? The Avalon video above looks like a morph of Suwanee Town Center and the Forsyth Avenue complex.

yes, that's avalon. it's going to be a bit more like atlantic station because everything above the first floor is going to be residential. there's also a 14 story hotel going in.
