The club seats are segregated from the rest of the seats. It is an entire side of the arena, directly under the luxury boxes. There are exclusive food and drink options and I believe you can order food and drink from your seat.

Not sure what you are going for, but back in the good ol days when the Thrashers were around, I found the regular seats to be much more fun to sit in due to the fact that there are more people cheering and less people on their cell phone.

Here is a link to show the difference http://seatdata.com/images/nba_hawks/800x600/112.jpg
This picture is taken from the perspective of a lower level regular seat. The seats across to the right across the court are the club seats, below the luxury boxes. Club seats do not provide access to luxury boxes btw.

tikigod is correct. The one thing I would add is the club seats are slightly bigger and spaced out a bit more so you have a little more room and it has better food/drink options and normally shorter lines. The view of the game/concert would be pretty much the same though.

I find the club and box seats to be something like sitting in a strangers' living room with a bunch of people who have never met. I'll take regular old seats over that upper-crust awkwardness anytime.
