Methinks this has something to do with a certaint sport played on a feild shaped after a certaint gem with umpires that can't make proper calls.

I do understand completely and I was quite impressed with all the trash that happened to fall off the truck onto the field.
Incredible sportsmanship I must say, quite impressive indeed (and I'm a Braves fan)

Shouldn't have put themselves in a position to need to comeback. Everyone is going to whine about that call, but even if that call isn't made, do the Braves get 3 across? That is a big if IMO. Chipper blowing that throw is a much bigger play in the game.

I had a feeling this has alot to do with the Braves losing tonight. No surprise to me. A few fans threw trash on the field because of the outcome. It doesn't bother me that the Braves lost. Never has, never will.

I actually appreciate the passion behind the fans' reaction. Being a hardcore sports town means going overboard occasionally. I think a lot of people are upset with this whole w/c situation. Baseball isn't a single game sport. This should have been a best of three. Add the fact that this could have been(and was) Chipper's last game and tension and frustration was high.

I knew not to get my hopes up. I've been a Braves fan for too long to do that. I had a small hope that they'd go deep into the post season with it being Chipper's last year but I knew that was silly even as well as they've done during the season. They just can't seal the deal and is there any other team in any other sport that underachieves so spectacularly?

I feel nothing...

Yeah, but at least the umps and MLB know that Atlanta begs to differ with that call.

I think the season is too long as it is and they've added even more layers of playoffs. One and done is fine with me, besides, Atlanta had home field advantage. If two teams tie in a division, that game is a one and done too so it's not like it is unprecedented.
