Well having gone to a single sex high school...IMO it removes a lot of the social pressure and allows you to focus on school work

Sounds cruel. It's healthy to develop both socially and academically in high school.

Folks, if you wish the topic to stay open, then the topic needs to lean towards the pros and/or cons of having such schools in GEORGIA/ATLANTA, otherwise it's too generic.

Sorry Greg, it was in the AJC? Does that count?

Does anyone see a county or school where this might take hold? It seems a little too prep school for my liking. Any literature I looked up pointed towards integrated sex schools as the most desirable. It must be a rough four years for all the guys!

I wonder how they do after high school without that extra four years to start learning.

EDIT: Greg, can you go ahead and move this to the education forum?
