Hey, I had never seen a map before. I thought Poncey-Highland was one of those areas like Buckhead where no clear borders were really recognized by any governing party and it was more of a marketing term.

Thanks for the map....and thanks for pointing out my mistake in the douchiest possible way! I appreciate that and wouldn't expect anything less.

That said, P-H has often struck me as an odd neighborhood to love because of the street/Freedom Parkway situation--it doesn't seem as pedestrian friendly as the surrounding neighborhoods
Its one of the more walkable neighborhoods in Atlanta. 2 grocery stores along Ponce, tons of restaurants and retail stores, well served by bus.

I can't comment on them specifically, but do your research on this. Otherwise, it would be a nice place to live and grow up IMO.
We've got grandkids who grew up over there and they loved it. Springdale Park is a fantastic elementary school and Inman Middle is so popular that it's literally bursting at the seams.

It is a great area, with some of the best schools in Atlanta and walking access to hundreds of stores, restaurants, and bars.

Who are these people who post on here?
Doesn't mean areas very close to it aren't. Bad people can walk/run/use cars too.

You can say that about any neighborhood. So, what are you getting at?

With things that bad you have to wonder why they don't just break off and form their own city.

Always nice to see someone concede a mistake gracefully.

My thought exactly. Saw two open house signs last weekend - one wast $500k and the other was around $699k. Nice area in my opinion but not inexpensive.

As others have said it really depends on your comfort level, we know several families in the O4W not far off Blvd but many wouldn't live there in 100 years.

I take your point, but what I meant by the area not being "pedestrian friendly" is not that one cannot walk to amenities, but that it would be unpleasant to do so. Walking along North, Ponce, and Freedom Parkway are decidedly unpleasant in my opinion, though one can certainly do it.
