No, he won't say anything at all. His M.O. tends to make one post that makes no sense, get called out on it, and then never respond.

But about skyscrapers...

People 'round here have been complaining about Atlanta not being a world class city. Well, at one time, we were very close to making that a reality.

We were once so close to true class and status for our city.
How does that make Atlanta world class? That really would not have had any effect on how the skyline looks IMO.

I'd rather just have dense mid-rise development where buildings line up the streets for miles then random high-rises scattered.

I guess Atlanta is getting a little closer to that on streets like West Peachtree St with that new hotel/apartment that is about built now.

Nothing says class like a Trump property. It means you have arrived.

Midtown will fill in with more apartment towers, but none will be super tall >40 stories.

My point was if anyone really WANTED to build down there and those people were the "problem", it could've been solved years ago. The only people even remotely trying to do anything down there is Ga State.. unless you want to count the 50 half empty condos in Midtown. Half the development stalled and i'm pretty sure the homeless had nothing to do with that. I guess next people will be blaming them for "Buckhead Atlanta" sitting vacant for what, 4 years?

Atlanta real estate - AJC recent article

Looks like Midtown and Buckhead (being attractive locations) are doing alright. Downtown is still losing tenants. Perimeter will probably do better than Alpharetta?

This is a joke, right? Having a TRUMP TOWER makes Atlanta a world class city?! ROTFL!
