yes fayetteville and Mcdonugh both have cute little "squares" with shopping and resturants.. It is hard for the shops to compete with the local walmarts and targets etc tho, so there seems to be a quick turnover with the shops. There are 5 or 6 restaurants just in the "square" area of Mcdonough. Also there is a ton of shopping (strip mall type) super target , Bjs, etc and restaurants off of Jonesboro road and Eagles landing parkway.
Plus they are in the process of builiding southpoint mall in Mcdonough should be done next year some time.
