According to the article Fuqua is coming back with a scaled down retail project for the area, presumably based on a grocery store.

No argument there. Just because it is well-served does not mean it is well utilized (on a % basis, not # of passengers).

Regardless, the intended frustration was more focused on the developers' "me-too" euphoria towards the asset class du jour: apartments.

A lot of riders get off at Buckhead and Lenox everyday for work from both northbound and southbound. Maybe not as much as those that drive, but just image if everyone drove?

Joey
I'm glad to have spotted the link you provided today about 250 Piedmont.
I ride by the building twice a day during my GRTA express commute & have been curious over the status of "Atlanta Center".

Hopefully the city see's this as an opportunity to create some green spaces around there or something and encourage more residential developments creeping into downtown... first step in the revival of lower downtown?

I found an apartment for less than 600, water included and Was/dry in the unit BUT.......the area looks like Omar and Marlo will knock on the door and ask to borrow some paper towel.
