Official New Atlanta Stadium

This include's the Falcons' official reasoning for the new stadium. It will be interesting when they add design and location details.

Please pick the south site and convert the current Dome location into a plaza, greenspace, or retail village that will integrate GWCC with Vine City.

One would hope that this is the much desired case.

Outstanding idea, cq.

The state of Georgia has proven with Centennial Park and Atlanta International Plaza that it knows how to run very successful urban parks. Why not add one more jewel to the crown?

South spot. Remove some blight, improve the economy of the more Southern parts of Atlanta. Is there no way to leave the current dome for GA State and build the new dome directly South of it, go vertical on parking in the Northern site?

The South site seems to make more sense overall.

In his interview with 790 The Zone on Wednesday, he specifically mentioned English Avenue, so I think they're leaning towards the north site. I'd love to see the south site used to make an even larger retail and park site than the one suggested above, plus Ivan Allen Boulevard would be a stately thoroughfare leading from the Centennial Olympic Park Area and Allen Plaza to the Stadium, which would be higher on the hill than if it were built on the corner of MLK and Northside.
