The topic pretty much sums up my question. For those who live in S. Fulton, do you hear alot from the planes?

I know on the east side of town, in the afternoon, I can hear the planes at times when they switch their landing path but I don't hear too much.

Thanks for your help, guys...

I was looking at the east point/college park area. The airplane noise is very noticible. We did not buy there.

YES...the city of Hapeville almost disappeared because so much damage was done to homes in the flight path. 30 years ago, we lived in Forest Park near the Farmers Market and heard plans constantly.

Most of the noise seems to come from the area due east of the Airport in the cities of Hapeville, Forest Park, East Point. Areas near the airport due west outside of 285 like Camp Creek Parkway, Sandtown and Union City are not affected by airport noise.

Atlantafinest, I'm looking west of 285 near the Camp Creek Parkway and Enon Road area...sounds like I won't be affected to much by the noise...good...

No problem bro, you will be fine, I own a house on Stonewall Tell Road in a new subdivision and I've never had a problem.

How far is that from that general area? Sorry, I'm not too familiar with the southside...
